Sundays are always my favorite days to dedicate to just blogging; I use to do a weekly recap on my first wordpress blog and I miss doing that but my life isn’t as interesting as it was in college. So I decided to do this instead!
I’ve always loved supporting small businesses. I’ve been buying on Etsy since 2008, my first wedding’s party favors were bought on Etsy. I had so much fun connecting with sellers trying to find the perfect product for my favors. I get super surprised to see some of my favorite shops from back then still up, running and thriving! It’s amazing.
Since opening my own small shop, I’ve been small shopping even more. There are SO MANY talented creative people out in this world! So here are a few I’ve purchased from in the month of September.
How the hell is it October already?! That’s so crazy. This whole year has been crazy!
Although I had said I was going to take a step back from blogging this year, I did want to try doing blogtober as I do every year. I don’t expect to do the whole 31 days, but it would be nice if I did. I do have a trip planner later this month, I’m hoping to get my posts pre-written before then.
— Release October shop update (that’s today)! — Release small Etsy shop update! — Keep up with Blogtober — Complete annual Halloween Reading Challenge — Get a Halloween costume — RELAX as much as possible on trip — Organize office (esp the closet) — Prep desk so that I can fit small biz stuff on it — Stop by the State Fair
I’m not trying to give myself too much to do this month since there’s already a lot to focus on. But I’m really excited for this month!
It’s my BFF’s birthday week! In honor of her birthday I decided to create a sticker sheet based on something she’s passionate about and to pick an organization for me to donate the earnings to. She’s really into conservation and eco friendly living; so I came up with this sticker sheet.
It includes the Lionfish (which can be found in the Philippine oceans) and crabs (something found in abundance in the SF Bay Area). I’m so happy with how these came out! A lot of my art work has this sketched out look to them and I’m really digging it. I’m surprised how much I love these little sea animals I drew! I’m legit no artist, don’t ask me to draw a human. But these don’t suck.
